Anonymizing PII

Handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII):

• Only device MAC addresses are processed, not names, user IDs, or other identifiers.

• MAC addresses are anonymized using a one-way hash with client-specific salts.

• Original MAC addresses are discarded and never stored.

• One-way hashes prevent recreation of the original MAC, and client-specific salts prevent cross-location tracking.

User Privacy
